I have bf 1942, Road to Rome, and Secret Weapons. SW installs patch 1.45. I read about patches 1.6/1.6b, but I’m a bit confused. Do I need to install all of the patches after 1.45 or can i just install 1.6 then 1.6b? Also, when I went to download 1.6/1.6b I saw that there are a few different versions like client patch 1.6, dedicated server patch 1.6, etc. Which do i need to dl to be able to join online games? Thanks.

I recently played battlefield 1942 on PC at a friends house and I loved it, so I downloaded it, with both expansions. What i want to know now is whether I should play the original game, the "road to rome" expansion or the "secret weapons of WWII" expansion (im guessing that because secret weapons is the most recent expansion, it will contain the stuff from the road to rome expansion, but i need someone to confirm this. also, for online, which is my best option?)

How do I upgrade my Battlefield 1942 version from 1.03.101, to 1.06.101 (Or whatever the new version is)? I went to the EA games battlefeild 1942 website for the newest patch, (Its download name is "battlefield_1942_incremental_patch_v1.6_to_v1.61b" but it dosn’t work. Can somone help me so I can play online again? If you can, Ill be really happy!

I recently found my Battlefield 1942 game and was hoping to play online. I installed it yadda yadda, now when I try to join a server online it says I have the wrong version. I go to the site it directs me to and have tried downloading just about every patch but it still wont update. Any help would be awesome. (PS I’m running Vista)
